Ark not downloading mods

Thank you for the support!  · My experience is I had the same issue, my solution favorite the mods you are currently subscribing to then unsubscribe them restart steam then add them back in one at a time and then starting ark each time to download them as it may be possible one of them may be out date is causing the problem in the first place. I saw that it said in the lower right "installing 23 mods" so I just let the computer run with ark's menu screen open for a few hours. (50Mbps connection) and its still saying the same thing. I restarted the computer, made sure I was even subscribed to the server mod pack, waited another 2 hours, and still says "installing 23 mods".

After update (never seen this before) it just tries to download mod which I cannot find in any config files anywhere also it doesn't try to download the mods in the config files. The config files and arkmanager has not been altered for a long time and I have quadruplechecked the config files just to be sure. when you join the server and need a mod to be installed it will first be downloaded in steam via workshop close ark wait for the download to be complete then launch ark and wait until the mod is installed because workshop only downloads some files but only ark installes them. normaly you get a timeout while conecting this is normal duo the timeout timer.
